About the Role

AWS Geek is looking for a motivated and creative Front-End Developer Intern to join our development team. The candidate will work on developing, improving, and maintaining responsive websites and web applications.

This internship offers an opportunity to work on real-world projects, collaborate with developers, and gain practical experience in modern front-end development technologies.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop responsive and user-friendly website interfaces.
- Build and maintain web pages using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
- Work with React.js to develop reusable UI components.
- Convert UI/UX designs and Figma layouts into functional web interfaces.
- Ensure websites work smoothly across different browsers, devices, and screen sizes.
- Collaborate with UI/UX designers, backend developers, and QA testers.
- Integrate frontend components with backend APIs.
- Identify and fix UI bugs, layout issues, and frontend errors.
- Optimize website performance, responsiveness, and usability.
- Maintain clean, readable, and reusable code.
- Use Git and GitHub for version control and collaboration.
- Learn and implement modern frontend development practices under the guidance of senior developers.

Required Skills
- Basic knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript.
- Understanding of responsive web design and mobile-first development.
- Familiarity with React.js and component-based development.
- Basic understanding of REST APIs and JSON.
- Familiarity with Git and GitHub.




- Ability to troubleshoot basic frontend issues.
- Positive problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Willingness to learn new technologies and work collaboratively.

Preferred Qualifications
- Candidates pursuing or having completed a degree or diploma in Computer Science, IT, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- Personal projects, academic projects, or previous internship experience in frontend development.
- Familiarity with Tailwind CSS, Bootstrap, or similar styling frameworks.
- Basic understanding of Figma and UI/UX implementation.
- Knowledge of Next.js is an advantage but not mandatory.
