Role Description The Freelance Video Editor will be responsible for editing video content that communicates ODA’s ideas, case studies, and leadership insights in a transparent and engaging manner. Day-to-day activities include assembling raw footage, selecting and arranging scenes, refining pacing, adding transitions, and integrating sound and visual elements that align with brand guidelines. The role also involves color grading, basic motion graphics work,



and collaboration with the creative and consulting teams to translate complex human-system concepts into accessible visual narratives.

This is a full-time remote role, requiring reliable availability, proactive communication, and the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines independently.

Qualifications

- Strong skills in Video Editing and Video Production for interviews, explainer videos, and thought leadership content.
- Proficiency in Video Color Grading to ensure consistent, professional visual quality and mood.
- Ability to create and integrate Motion Graphics and Graphics to clarify concepts and enhance viewer engagement.
- Experience with industry-standard editing tools (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve) and basic audio editing.
- Solid understanding of storytelling, pacing, and visual communication, ideally for B2B or professional services content.
- Strong attention to detail, time management, and the ability to work independently in a remote, collaborative environment.
- Prior experience editing content related to leadership, organizational development, or consulting is a plus.
- Relevant training or education in film, media production, design, or a related field is preferred but not mandatory.
