Projectitude is an academic assignment help service serving students across the UK, Australia, Canada, US, and UAE. We're hiring a senior freelance SEO lead to own strategy and direction across our site.

About the engagement

- Fully remote
- Direct working relationship with the founders (no middle layer)
- Long-term engagement preferred — we're not looking for a one-off audit

What you'll own

- Monthly SEO strategy and quarterly roadmap
- Keyword research across money pages and blog clusters
- On-page optimization direction (titles, meta, headings, internal linking, silo architecture)
- Technical SEO — audits, Core Web Vitals, schema, indexing, crawl issues
- Monthly content planning — briefs and priority queue for our writer
- Link prospect vetting — reviewing opportunities our link builder surfaces, approving anchor text and target URLs
- Diagnosing underperforming pages and shipping recovery plans

Current challenges we need help with

- Our /thesis-writing-service/ page dropped from position 4 to 30 — needs diagnosis and a recovery plan
- Our /marketing-assignment-help/ page sits near page 1 and needs a push over the line
- Building out silo architecture for our main service pages with sub-page hierarchies
- Scaling content production without triggering quality signals in a scrutinized niche

What we need from you

- 5+ years in SEO with ownership of outcomes,



not just execution
- Experience in a Google-scrutinized niche — academic/essay , YMYL, gambling, pharma, finance, or similar. You understand why generic playbooks are dangerous here.
- Deep comfort with Semrush, Ahrefs, GSC, and Screaming Frog
- Ability to read HTML/CSS and understand JavaScript rendering issues
- Comfortable using AI tools (Claude, ChatGPT) as part of your workflow — audits, briefs, analysis
- Experience with UK, AU, CA, and US search markets. This is not an India-market role.
- Comfortable with WordPress

Nice to have

- Background working with academic writing, essay, or education-sector sites
- Experience shipping technical fixes directly (not just writing tickets)
- Portfolio of case studies with real traffic/ranking data

- Monthly strategy call, with ad-hoc Slack/email in between
- We use Claude extensively across our workflow — including for site changes and audits
- Explicit scope, predictable retainer, paid monthly in advance
- Our link builder and content team report into your direction
