Key Responsibilities

1. Software &

- Application Development

- Lead the development and maintenance of Build Hive's web-based management portal and mobile applications.

- Oversee the development of modules for project management, site monitoring, activity tracking, quality control, safety management, financial monitoring, document management, and procurement.

- Ensure seamless integration between web applications, mobile applications, databases, and third-party systems.

- Manage software testing, deployment, maintenance, and continuous improvements.

Technology

Architecture &

- Management

- Define the technology stack, software architecture, and development roadmap.

- Ensure the platform is scalable, secure, reliable, and performance-oriented.

- Manage databases, APIs, cloud infrastructure, and software integrations.

- Establish coding standards, development processes, documentation, and quality assurance practices.

3. Research &

- Development (R&D;)

- Research and develop innovative technology solutions for the construction industry.

- Explore AI, machine learning, automation, and data analytics to improve construction project execution and monitoring.

- Develop solutions for cost estimation, progress tracking, material planning, procurement intelligence, and productivity analysis.

- Evaluate emerging technologies and convert promising ideas into practical product features.

Technical

Strategy &

- Product Development

- Work closely with the founder to translate business requirements into technical solutions.

- Identify opportunities to improve product functionality, user experience, and operational efficiency.

- Define development priorities,



project timelines, and technical milestones.

- Evaluate the feasibility, cost, and scalability of new product ideas.

5. Team &

- Vendor Management

- Lead and coordinate developers, designers, external technology partners, and service providers as required.

- Review code quality and ensure timely delivery of development milestones.

- Build and manage an in-house technical team as the company grows.

- Maintain proper control over source code, technical documentation, and company intellectual property.

Required Qualifications &

- Skills

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field.

- Solid experience in software development, web applications, and mobile application technologies.

- Knowledge of frontend and backend development, databases, APIs, and cloud infrastructure.

- Understanding of software architecture, system integration, cybersecurity, and application deployment.

- Experience in AI, automation, machine learning, or data analytics will be an advantage.

- Strong problem-solving, leadership, communication, and project management skills.

- Ability to work independently and take complete ownership of technology development.

Preferred Experience

- Experience developing SaaS platforms, ERP systems, project management software, or enterprise applications.

- Experience leading software development teams or managing external development partners.

- Familiarity with construction technology, project management, procurement, or financial management systems.

- An entrepreneurial mindset with an interest in building innovative technology products from the ground up.
