Position: Foreman Transmission Line Erection & Stringing

Job Type: Full-time

Experience: 3 to 6 in Transmission Line Erection & Stringing

Reporting To: Site Manager/Project Manager

Job Responsibilities

Supervise and coordinate all activities related to the tower erection & stringing of transmission lines, ensuring compliance with project specifications, safety standards,

and timelines

Plan and allocate tasks to the workforce, including linemen, riggers, and technicians,

to optimize efficiency and productivity

Ensure proper handling, installation, and alignment of transmission line structures,

including towers, conductors, insulators, and fittings

Monitor the use of tools, equipment, and materials, ensuring proper maintenance and minimal wastage

Collaborate with engineers, site supervisors,



and subcontractors to resolve technical challenges and maintain project progress

Maintain accurate records of daily work progress, manpower deployment, and material usage

Train and guide workers on safe work practices, work methodologies, and the use of specialized equipment

Report any issues, deviations, or delays to the site management and suggest corrective actions

Key Requirements

Diploma/ITI in Electrical, Civil, or a related field preferred

Proven experience in the erection & stringing of transmission lines (33kV, 132kV,

220kV, 400kV, or higher)

Robust knowledge of rigging, tower assembly, stringing operations, and grounding techniques

Familiarity with safety regulations

Willingness to work in remote locations and challenging environments
