Job Title: Food Provisions Quality Auditor – Cold Storage & Inventory

Location: Vashi, Navi Mumbai

Job Type: Full-time, On-site

We are looking for a responsible and detail-oriented Food Provisions Quality Auditor to oversee food-quality, shelf-life, and stock-control checks at our cold-storage operations.

Key Responsibilities

Conduct routine physical verification of food stock at Vashi cold storage and other assigned storage locations.

Compare physical stock with ERP and stock reports; identify and report any discrepancy.

Check product condition, packaging, quantity, batch number, manufacturing date, expiry date, and remaining shelf life.

Ensure proper implementation of FEFO (First Expiry, First Out) and report stock approaching expiry.

Identify and immediately report damaged, expired, temperature-affected, or non-conforming food materials.

Verify storage temperature, hygiene, segregation, and general food-handling practices.

Prepare transparent item-wise audit reports with photographs, stock variances, expiry-risk details, and corrective-action recommendations.

Coordinate with Operations, Purchase, Warehouse,



and Accounts teams to close audit observations and prevent recurrence.

Support checks during inward receipt, stock transfer, and delivery preparation when required.

Maintain accurate records and ensure that quality-related concerns are escalated without delay.

Candidate Requirements

Experience in food quality, cold storage, warehouse quality, FMCG, food distribution, catering, or similar operations.

Practical knowledge of food-storage conditions, shelf-life management, batch control, and FEFO/FIFO.

Diploma or Degree in Food Technology, Food Science, Microbiology, Quality Assurance, or a related field preferred.

Proficiency in Excel and ability to prepare structured audit reports.

Strong attention to detail, integrity, and follow-up skills.

Ability to work independently and visit storage/warehouse locations as required.

Salary: Negotiable for experienced candidates

Pay: ₹22,000.00 - ₹28,000.00 per month
