Role Description The Food and Beverage GSA (Guest Service Associate) role is a full-time, on-site position based in Palghat at Distrikt 9 Hotels & Resorts. This role involves welcoming guests in food and beverage outlets, taking orders, serving food and drinks, and ensuring a smooth and pleasant dining experience.

The Food and Beverage GSA supports daily restaurant, bar, and banqueting operations, including table setup, clearing, and maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards.



The role also includes coordinating with the kitchen and bar teams, handling basic billing and payment processes, and responding promptly and courteously to guest requests and feedback. The team member is expected to follow hotel service standards, assist with special events and conferences, and contribute to an overall atmosphere of professional, attentive hospitality.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess skills in Food Service and Food & Beverage operations.
- Candidates should possess robust Customer Service and Communication skills.
- Candidates should possess basic Culinary Skills relevant to food handling and presentation.
- Basic knowledge of hygiene and safety standards in hospitality service.
- Prior experience in hotel restaurants, banquets, or related food and beverage settings is an advantage.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, and to stand for extended periods.
- High school diploma or equivalent; hospitality or hotel management training is a plus.
- Professional appearance, teamwork mindset, and a guest-centric attitude.
