The candidate will be responsible for sourcing experienced Merchant Navy Deck Officers and Marine Engineers for our vessels, maintaining a database of seafarers, and coordinating with candidates for current and upcoming vessel requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Source experienced Merchant Navy Deck Officers, including Master, Chief Officer, Second Officer and Third Officer.
- Source experienced Marine Engineers, including Chief Engineer, Second Engineer, Third Engineer and Fourth Engineer.
- Contact candidates through job portals, LinkedIn, professional networks and recruitment databases.
- Screen CVs and verify rank, sailing experience, CoC, vessel type experience and availability.
- Maintain an updated database of experienced officers and engineers.
- Coordinate interviews, salary discussions, documentation and joining schedules.
- Build and maintain a strong network of experienced seafarers.
- Coordinate with the Fleet Manager and Operations Team to fulfil crew requirements on time.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in Marine Crewing, Ship Manning or Merchant Navy Recruitment is preferred.
- Positive knowledge of Deck and Engine department ranks.
- Experience sourcing experienced officers and engineers for merchant vessels.
- Good communication, coordination and candidate follow-up skills.
- Knowledge of seafarer documentation and recruitment procedures is an advantage.
Preferred Candidate: Someone with a proven track record in sourcing experienced Merchant Navy Officers and Marine Engineers for a shipping company. Pay: ₹40,000.00 - ₹60,000.00 per month
