Role & responsibilities 1. Inventory Management

- Track finished PVC/CPVC/UPVC/HDPE/PPR pipes, fittings, and value-added products from the

production line into warehouse storage
- Maintain accurate stock records (ERP/SAP system inventory vs. physical inventory) across all finished

goods categories
- Manage storage locations, bins, and yard zones accounting for pipe length/diameter-based storage

(racking for long pipes vs. bins for fittings)
1. Receiving from Production

- Confirm and process goods receipt notes (GRN) from the extrusion/injection moulding production lines

into the warehouse module
- Conduct quality holds/checks (visual inspection, dimension, batch QC clearance) before releasing goods

to sellable stock, coordinating with the Plant QA team
- Update batch/lot numbers, production date, and shift details for traceability as per plant QMS

requirements
1. Order Fulfillment Support

- Ensure stock availability at Athal Plant for picking, packing, and dispatch to distributors/dealers in the

western region
- Allocate inventory against sales orders raised via the regional sales/CRM system




- Manage stock reservations for priority dispatches, institutional orders, and regional demand

1. Reporting & Reconciliation

- Generate stock aging and inventory turnover reports for finished goods (SKU-wise: pipes, fittings, tanks,

etc.)
- Conduct cycle counts and periodic physical audits, reconciling with system stock; report variances to

Plant Warehouse Manager
- Monitor slow-moving/obsolete SKUs and flag for liquidation or promotional dispatch

1. Stock Movement Control

- Approve/process stock transfers between Athal Plant and other Prince Pipes plants/regional warehouses

(e.g., Dadra, Haridwar, Kolhapur, Chennai)
- Manage RMA/returns from dealers/distributors, inspect and reintegrate saleable returns into finished

goods stock
- Oversee documentation of stock adjustments damages, transit losses, write-offs with root-cause
