This role will be responsible for managing end-to-end consultant payroll and invoice processing, including project-wise allocation, verification, reconciliation, and timely payouts.

Maintain accurate accounting records in Tally while coordinating with consultants, show runners, and internal stakeholders to ensure smooth payroll and financial operations

ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Payroll

• Manage the end-to-end consultant invoice processing, ensuring accurate and timely processing.
- Maintain accurate payroll records and support documentation.
- Assist with payroll-related statutory deductions and compliance, wherever applicable.

1. Consultant Management & Project Allocation

• Prepare reports of the consultants engaged across different projects and share it with the respective showrunners for approval.
- Track project allocation for each consultant and highlight any unallocated percentages mapped against consultants.
- Ensure payouts are processed and booked in Tally against the correct project and approved allocation.
- Track the monthly allocations with the provisions of the resources mapped against respective projects shared by the respective showrunners.
- Track changes in project allocation and ensure the same are appropriately reflected in payroll, allocation sheet and accounting records.

1. Invoice Processing & Verification

• Handle end-to-end invoice processing, including receipt, verification,



approval tracking and payment coordination.
- Identify discrepancies in invoices and coordinate with respective consultants for resolution.
- Maintain proper records of invoices and payment status.
- Support monthly reconciliation of invoices, payouts and accounting entries.

1. Accounting & Tally

• Record and maintain accounting transactions in Tally.
- Handle basic accounting activities including journal entries, ledger maintenance and reconciliations.
- Assist with vendor/consultant ledger reconciliation and outstanding payment tracking.
- Support the Finance team during month-end closing and audits.
- Ensure proper documentation and filing of financial records.

EXPERIENCE & SKILLS

- 2–5 years of relevant experience in Payroll, Accounts or Finance Operations.
- Hands-on experience in payroll processing. Having Experience in cost centres in Tally
- Strong understanding of consultant/vendor invoices and invoice verification.
- Working knowledge of Tally is mandatory.
- Understanding of project allocation and project-wise payroll processing.
- Good knowledge of MS Excel and ability to work with large datasets.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Valuable coordination and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and work within strict monthly deadlines.
- Experience in the media, entertainment, production or project-based organization would be an advantage.
