We are looking for a Finance Transformation professional with strong Chart of Accounts and Master Data Management experience to support a major finance transformation initiative.
The role will be responsible for supporting the migration and management of a new Chart of Accounts (CoA) within an enterprise Master Data Management platform, with a strong focus on Oracle Enterprise Data Management (EDM).
You will work closely with Finance and Digital Technology teams to ensure financial hierarchies are accurately mapped, governed, maintained and made available for business reporting and analytics.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the migration of a new Chart of Accounts into Oracle EDM or another Master Data Management platform.
- Work with Finance and Technology stakeholders to understand, map and maintain financial hierarchies and master data.
- Support the management of Chart of Accounts, General Ledger and Cost Centre hierarchies.
- Define and maintain data mappings, structures and business rules related to financial master data.
- Support data governance and standardization across finance data.
- Collaborate with technology teams on hierarchy changes, data migration and MDM/EDM implementation activities.
- Enable business users to effectively utilize the new Chart of Accounts in Power BI dashboards, Excel-based analysis and other reporting solutions.
- Identify and resolve data quality, mapping and hierarchy-related issues.
- Support ongoing changes and enhancements to financial master data structures.
Your Profile
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Information Systems, Computer Science or a related discipline.
- 4+ years of relevant experience in Finance Transformation, Master Data Management, Finance Data or related areas.
- Strong hands-on experience with Chart of Accounts this is the most significant requirement.
- Understanding of General Ledger, Cost Centre and financial hierarchies.
- Experience with Oracle EDM or another Master Data Management (MDM) platform.
- Strong understanding of data governance, data mapping, hierarchy management and master data processes.
- Ability to work effectively with both Finance and Technology/DT stakeholders.
- Strong analytical and communication skills.
- Experience working on large-scale Finance Transformation or ERP transformation projects.
- Consulting experience, particularly with Big 4 or other leading consulting firms.
- Experience with Power BI or Excel-based financial reporting and analytics.
- Exposure to SQL, Python, cloud platforms or AI/automation.
- Relevant MDM / Oracle EDM certifications will be an added advantage.
