We are a growing supermarket and wholesale business with multi-location operations across Kerala. Our operations include supermarkets, wholesale, distribution, central godown, inventory management, purchasing, finance, and other centralized functions.

Job Overview

We are looking for an experienced and result-oriented Finance Manager to oversee financial operations, accounting, cash flow management, budgeting, financial reporting, and internal financial controls. The ideal candidate will ensure financial discipline, transparency, cost efficiency, and sustainable business growth across our operations.

Key Responsibilities

1.Financial Planning & Analysis

- Prepare budgets, financial forecasts, and periodic financial reports.
- Monitor revenue, expenses, profitability, and cash flow.
- Analyze financial performance and recommend corrective actions.

1. Accounting & Financial Reporting

- Oversee daily accounting, ledger maintenance, reconciliations, and month-end closing.
- Ensure accurate and timely financial statements and management reports.
- Maintain financial records and documentation.

1. Cash Flow & Working Capital Management.

- Monitor daily cash balances, bank transactions, receivables, and payables.




- Ensure effective working capital management across retail and wholesale operations.
- Strengthen cash handling, banking, and reconciliation procedures.

1. Cost Control & Profitability

- Identify opportunities to reduce operating costs and improve profit margins.
- Monitor branch-wise financial performance and expenses.
- Establish effective controls to minimize financial leakage and unnecessary expenditure.

1. Compliance & Internal Controls

- Ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards, GST, TDS, and other statutory requirements.
- Coordinate audits and statutory filings with the relevant professionals.
- Implement robust financial controls to prevent errors, misuse, and irregularities.

1. Team & Cross-Functional Coordination

- Coordinate with management, purchasing, sales, warehouse, and branch teams.
- Establish clear financial reporting systems, accountability, and approval procedures.
- Support management in strategic decisions through reliable financial insights.

Required Qualifications & Skills

- Experience: Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in finance, accounting, or financial management, preferably in FMCG, retail, supermarket, distribution, or wholesale businesses.
- Education:Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Finance, Accounting, or a related field. Professional qualifications will be an added advantage.
- Technical Skills: Strong knowledge of accounting software/ERP systems, advanced MS Excel, financial reporting, GST, TDS, and bank reconciliation.
- Analytical Skills:Ability to analyze financial data, identify discrepancies, and improve profitability.
- Leadership: Ability to manage finance teams and coordinate with multiple branches and departments.
- Integrity: High ethical standards, accuracy, confidentiality, and financial discipline.
