Role Description

- Accounting Management: Supervise and guide the accounting team to ensure accurate and timely recording of sales, purchases, bank transactions, and other financial entries.
- GST & Tax Compliance: Oversee GST compliance, including GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, and GSTR-9 filings, along with TDS return filing and other applicable statutory compliances.
- Reconciliation: Ensure regular reconciliation of GSTR-2B with purchase records, TDS/TCS balances, and bank accounts to identify and resolve discrepancies.
- Audit Preparation:



Maintain audit-ready books of accounts and coordinate with auditors for statutory audits and tax audits.
- MIS & Financial Analysis: Prepare and analyse MIS reports covering sales, purchases, inventory, cost centres, and other key financial performance indicators to support management decision-making.
- Bank Reconciliation: Review and ensure timely completion of bank reconciliations, resolving outstanding items and discrepancies.
- ERP & Accounting Systems: Work with ERP and accounting systems, preferably Odoo, to maintain financial records, streamline accounting processes, and improve reporting efficiency.

Qualifications

- CA Finalist with strong knowledge of accounting standards, taxation, and compliance, preferably with experience in start-ups or technology-driven businesses.
- Hands-on experience in preparing and reviewing financial statements, managing general ledgers, and overseeing accounts payable/receivable.
- Familiarity with financial ERPs or accounting software, and strong skills in Excel or other spreadsheet tools for data analysis and reporting.
- Ability to design and implement internal controls, process improvements, and financial policies suitable for a growing organization.
