Job Opening: Field Application Scientist

Location: Bangalore Experience: 25 Years Industry: Life Sciences | Laboratory Automation | Genomics

We are looking for a Field Application Scientist to provide technical application support, conduct product demonstrations, and assist customers with laboratory automation and validation activities.

Key Responsibilities

- Conduct product demonstrations, customer training, and technical presentations.
- Support the implementation and optimisation of laboratory automation workflows.
- Perform and support validation of liquid handling systems and laboratory automation workflows.
- Troubleshoot application-related issues and provide technical solutions.
- Collaborate with sales and service teams to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Support customer trials, application development, and technical queries.
- Build relationships with customers across pharmaceutical companies, biotechnology firms, CROs, genomics laboratories, and research institutions.





Candidate Requirements
- Master's degree in Life Sciences, Biotechnology, Molecular Biology, Biochemistry, or a related field.
- 2–5 years of experience in field applications, application support, or a similar technical role.
- Mandatory: Hands-on experience in liquid handling and laboratory automation validation.
- Knowledge of automated laboratory workflows and liquid handling instruments.
- Robust communication, presentation, and troubleshooting skills.
- Willingness to travel for customer visits.

Preferred Skills
- Exposure to genomics, NGS, molecular biology, or high-throughput laboratory workflows.
- Experience with automated liquid handling platforms and workflow optimisation.
