Position OverviewWe are looking for an experienced, energetic, and highly qualified F&B; Service Captain to join our team. As a Service Captain, you will be the face of our restaurant floor, bridging the gap between our guests, the front-of-house waitstaff, and the kitchen team.Your primary goal will be to supervise daily floor operations, enforce strict service standards, drive revenue through upselling, and ensure an exceptional dining experience for every guest. - Guest Experience: Greet guests warmly, escort them to tables, present menus, and provide expert recommendations on food and wine pairings.

- Floor Supervision: Oversee waitstaff, buspersons, and hostesses during the shift, assigning clear station duties and managing table rotations.

- Service Standards: Conduct daily pre-shift briefings to communicate daily specials, operational updates, and maintain high standards of grooming and etiquette.

- Order Management: Take accurate guest orders, manage dietary requirements, and coordinate seamlessly with the kitchen and bar to ensure timely delivery.

- Issue Resolution: Act as the first point of contact for guest feedback or complaints, resolving issues swiftly, tactfully, and professionally.

- Revenue Generation:



Use suggestive selling and upselling techniques to increase average check sizes and meet daily sales targets.

- Billing & POS: Manage tableside billing, process transactions via the POS system, and ensure accurate cash and card reconciliations at the end of the shift.

- Inventory & Hygiene: Supervise mis-en-place, monitor table setups, and keep track of crockery/cutlery inventory to minimize breakage and wastage.

Required Qualifications & Skills

- Experience: Minimum 1 to 3 years of experience as a Captain or Senior Steward in a fine-dining restaurant, premium lounge, or 4/5-star hotel.

- Education: A Degree or Diploma in Hotel Management / Hospitality is preferred, though exceptional on-the-floor experience will be considered.

- Communication: Excellent verbal communication and listening skills. Fluency in English is required; knowledge of additional languages is a strong plus.

- Tech-Savvy: Proficient in operating modern Restaurant POS systems (e.g., IDS, ShawMan, Micros, or similar software).

- Leadership: Proven ability to manage a team, handle high-pressure peak hours, and multi-task efficiently.

Pay: ₹22,000.00 - ₹24,000.00 per month
