About the Role

VD Intellisys Technologies is looking for an experienced Fabrication Site Supervisor to supervise metal fabrication, mechanical assembly, machine installation, and site execution activities for industrial machinery and specialised equipment. The candidate will coordinate with the engineering, production, and installation teams to ensure quality work, timely completion, and compliance with safety standards

Key Responsibilities

- Supervise metal fabrication, cutting, welding, drilling, grinding, fitting, and assembly activities.
- Oversee fabrication of machine frames, metal enclosures, brackets, panels, supports, and mechanical components.
- Read and interpret mechanical drawings, fabrication drawings, and technical specifications.
- Ensure accurate measurements, alignment, fitting, and assembly of machine components.
- Coordinate machine assembly, installation, and commissioning activities at sites as required.
- Supervise fabricators, welders, fitters, helpers, and installation technicians.
- Coordinate with mechanical engineers, production teams,



CNC/VMC operators, and project teams.
- Inspect fabricated components and assembled equipment for quality and dimensional accuracy.
- Monitor material availability, manpower allocation, work progress, and project schedules.
- Travel to project locations across India whenever required.
- Prepare daily progress reports and maintain fabrication and installation records.
- Ensure compliance with workplace safety procedures and proper use of PPE .

Experience Required

- 2-5 years of relevant experience in fabrication, welding, fitting, mechanical assembly, or industrial machinery manufacturing
- Experience in machine-frame fabrication and equipment assembly is preferred.
- Candidates with experience in site installation, commissioning, and manpower supervision will be preferred.
- Ex-Army or Ex- Servicemen are encouraged to apply

Qualification: B.Tech in Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics, Diploma / ITI or a related technical field.

Significant

Candidates with experience in industrial machinery manufacturing, sheet-metal fabrication, mechanical equipment assembly, and installation activities will be preferred.

Work Requirement: The candidate must be comfortable travelling across India as per project requirements.
