Job Purpose To lead and develop the company's export and international business by identifying new markets, acquiring customers and distributors, generating profitable export sales, and building a scalable export sales function.

Develop and execute the company's export sales strategy. Identify potential countries, markets, customers, distributors, and business opportunities. Conduct market research to understand demand, competition, pricing, and market requirements. Develop current international customers and distribution networks. Build and maintain a strong export sales pipeline.

2. Sales & Customer Development

- Generate export enquiries and convert them into confirmed orders.
- Prepare and submit commercial proposals and quotations.
- Negotiate pricing, payment terms, order quantities, and other commercial conditions.
- Focus on building long-term and repeat business.

3. Market Development

- Understand country-specific product requirements, standards, certifications, and regulations.
- Study competitors and market pricing.
- Provide market feedback and recommendations to management regarding products, pricing, packaging, and market opportunities.

4. Export Order Coordination

- Coordinate with Production, Quality, Dispatch, Finance, and other departments for smooth execution of export orders.
- Ensure customer requirements and delivery timelines are properly communicated internally.
- Coordinate with logistics and freight partners wherever required.




- Monitor orders from confirmation to dispatch and payment realization

5. Export Compliance & Documentation

- Ensure necessary export procedures, documentation, certifications, and customer requirements are properly coordinated.
- Identify certifications or approvals required for entry into target markets.
- Coordinate with relevant internal teams and external agencies for compliance requirements.

6. International Travel & Exhibitions

- Travel internationally for customer meetings, market development, exhibitions, and business opportunities as required.
- Identify relevant trade exhibitions and international business opportunities. Ensure proper follow-up of leads generated through exhibitions and market visits.

Educational Qualification

- Graduate in any discipline.
- MBA / PGDM in International Business, Marketing, or Business Management will be preferred

Experience

- 7–12 years of experience in Export Sales or International Business Development.
- Experience in developing international markets and acquiring export customers.
- Experience in manufacturing, industrial products, pipes, building materials, plastics, or related industries will be preferred.
