Functional Responsibilities

· Operations Management

1. Manage and oversee the complete patient admission workflow (IPD, Day-care, Emergency, and Observation).
2. Ensure accurate patient registration, including demographic, insurance, and referral details.
3. Coordinate with treating consultants and nursing staff for bed allocation and transfer based on clinical requirements and availability.
4. Liaise with billing, insurance/TPA, medical records, nursing, and housekeeping for seamless patient onboarding.
5. Collaborate with emergency, ICU, and OT teams for timely and critical admissions.
6. Ensure all pre-admission formalities (consents, insurance pre-auth, etc.) are completed efficiently.
7. Ensure compliance with hospital policies, statutory regulations (e.g., ID proof, consent forms), and standards (e.g., NABH, Nursing Excellence)..
8. Maintain and audit complete documentation for every admission, including approvals, forms, and system records.
9. Provide frontline support to patients and families during the admission process.
10. Handle escalations and grievances related to delays, miscommunication, or room allocations.
11. Ensure smooth handover of information to patients and attendants about hospital processes, visiting hours, and financial counselling.
12. Maintain records of daily admissions, discharges, transfers, and cancellations..
13. Monitor and reduce admission turnaround time (TAT) and registration errors.
14.



Conduct shift handovers with clear communication on pending tasks, special cases, and bed occupancy.

· To follow all the rules and regulations of the organization that are prevailing in practice from time to time.

· The Senior Executive – Admissions Operations’s role is vital in delivering & maintaining high-quality patient care.

· Take ownership of all the duties that you are responsible for at your workplace.

In addition to the above mentioned duties and job functions any other assignment given by the immediate superior or the management will have to be carried out.

Pay: ₹18,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
