Key Responsibilities

- Content Support: Assist in developing promotional materials and communication content by collaborating with internal teams ashore and seafarers onboard Synergy managed vessels. Ensure content aligns with brand guidelines and supports overall visibility.

- Social Media Coordination: Help curate and monitor social media content for platforms, ensuring relevance and engagement. Provide routine updates to maintain a cohesive digital presence.

- Marketing Assistance: Provide support for inbound and outbound marketing initiatives, including website content updates, SEO, SEM, and campaign optimization.

- Crisis Monitoring & Reporting: Monitor and track potential crisis situations across media channels, including social media, news outlets, and other communication platforms. Prepare regular updates and detailed reports for senior management, highlighting potential risks and recommending proactive responses.

- Crisis Communication Support: Assist in executing crisis communication plans, ensuring timely dissemination of approved messaging to stakeholders while safeguarding the organization's reputation.

- Communication Material Preparation: Assist in drafting communication materials such as newsletters and articles. Prepare and manage briefs for campaigns and ensure proper coordination for their execution.

- Media Relations Assistance:



Support media relations efforts by drafting responses for media inquiries and ensuring timely communication while safeguarding the organization's reputation.

- Campaign Monitoring: Track and report on campaign performance, maintain accurate records for budgets and contingencies, and assist in the preparation of detailed reports for leadership.

- Administrative Tasks: Oversee routine functions like database management, campaign tracking, and supporting tools and technology adoption for effective operations.

What We Are Looking For

- Educational Qualifications:

- Undergraduate or postgraduate degree in Communications, Media Studies, Advertising, Public Relations, or a related field.

- Experience:

- At least 25 years of experience in a support role within Media, Corporate Communications, or Marketing, preferably in MNCs or similar organizations.

- Skills and Competencies:

- Proficiency in content management systems and familiarity with digital marketing platforms.

- Basic knowledge of design tools like Canva, Photoshop, or Illustrator is advantageous.

- Strong written and verbal communication skills.

- Experience in media monitoring and reporting tools

- Excellent organization and time management to handle multiple priorities effectively.

- Analytical skills for monitoring and reporting campaign and crisis-related success metrics.

- A cooperative mindset to work seamlessly across teams and departments.

- Familiarity with maritime industry trends is a bonus but not mandatory.
