About the Role :

We are looking for an ERP Project Manager to lead the end-to-end implementation of Odoo ERP across the organisation. The role involves coordinating business and technical teams, managing project scope and timelines, overseeing implementation activities, and ensuring successful deployment and post-go-live stabilisation. Following the implementation, the candidate will take on responsibility for leading the organisation's ERP Development Competence Centre.

Key Responsibilities :

- Lead the end-to-end Odoo ERP implementation lifecycle, from project initiation and requirements validation through solution design, deployment, and post-go-live stabilisation.
- Develop and maintain project plans covering scope, milestones, timelines, dependencies, resources, budget, and delivery priorities.
- Coordinate with business stakeholders, functional consultants, developers, IT teams, and external implementation partners to ensure effective project execution.
- Gather, analyse, and validate business requirements and translate them into functional requirements and ERP implementation plans.
- Oversee ERP configuration, customisation, integrations, data migration, testing, and deployment activities.
- Manage the functional backlog, prioritise requirements, and coordinate change requests based on business value, feasibility, and project objectives.
- Establish project governance processes, including status reporting, review meetings, decision-making mechanisms, and escalation procedures.
- Identify project risks, issues, and dependencies, and drive mitigation plans to minimise delivery delays.
- Monitor project progress against agreed scope, timelines, budget, and quality expectations.
- Coordinate system integration testing, user acceptance testing, defect resolution, user training, and business readiness activities.
- Ensure data integrity, process alignment, and smooth integration between Odoo ERP and other enterprise applications.




- Drive post-implementation support, issue resolution, process improvements, and system stabilisation.
- Establish documentation, delivery standards, and development processes for ongoing ERP enhancements.
- Build and lead the ERP Development Competence Centre after successful implementation, overseeing future enhancements, technical capability development, and continuous improvement.

Required Skills &

Experience :

- 16 years of relevant experience in ERP project coordination, project management, ERP implementation, or enterprise application delivery.
- Hands-on exposure to Odoo ERP implementation, configuration, customisation, or support.
- Understanding of ERP implementation lifecycle, including requirements gathering, solution design, development, integration, testing, and deployment.
- Familiarity with ERP modules and business processes such as Finance, Sales, Purchase, Inventory, and related operational functions.
- Experience coordinating cross-functional teams, stakeholders, vendors, or implementation partners.
- Understanding of project planning, milestone tracking, resource coordination, risk management, and change control.
- Familiarity with data migration, system integration, UAT, deployment, and post-go-live support.
- Ability to translate business requirements into functional specifications and actionable project deliverables.
- Strong organisational, analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities and drive delivery.

Valuable to Have :

- Experience with Odoo technical architecture, APIs, integrations, or custom module development.
- Familiarity with Agile, Scrum, or Waterfall project management methodologies.
- Knowledge of Python, PostgreSQL, and web application architecture used in Odoo environments.
- Experience with ERP vendor management, implementation partner coordination, or enterprise application governance.
- Relevant project management or ERP certifications.
