Role & responsibilities

- Ensure compliance with GPCB, CPCB, Hazardous Waste Rules, Water Act, Air Act, MSIHC Rules, and other applicable environmental, health, and safety regulations
- Manage environmental permits and statutory compliance, including consent applications, environmental returns, legal compliance registers, and regulatory reporting.
- Oversee operation and performance of ETP, STP, and Air Pollution Control Systems to ensure compliance with emission and effluent discharge norms.
- Administer hazardous waste management, including storage, labeling, manifest preparation, transportation, disposal through authorized recyclers/TSDF, and waste minimization initiatives.
- Monitor environmental parameters such as air emissions, ambient air quality,



wastewater, and noise levels; analyze trends and implement corrective actions for deviations.
- Implement and maintain ISO 14001 and EHS management systems, conduct audits, aspect-impact assessments, risk assessments (HIRA/JSA), and ensure closure of audit observations.
- Drive EHS culture and sustainability initiatives through employee training, incident investigations, safety inspections, ESG reporting, water conservation, carbon footprint reduction, and promotion of protected work practices across the site
