Responsibilities

- Actively participate in the software design, development, and testing of reference application processor firmware.

- Develop, test, and debug low-level software across multiple platforms, including software models, development boards, and production products.

- Develop software stacks for reference platforms supporting next-generation devices.

- Design and develop test code for firmware and system software validation.

- Create automation solutions to streamline development workflows and minimize manual testing.

- Analyze industry specifications and roadmap requirements, break down technical tasks, and contribute to project planning and implementation.

- Contribute to upstream development, code maintenance, and open-source software integration.

Required Skills and Experience

- Minimum of 5+ years of relevant experience in embedded software development, firmware engineering, or system software.

- Strong C/C++ programming skills, with the ability to implement significant new functionality, analyze complex issues, and resolve software defects.

- Knowledge of assembly language and strong debugging skills are preferred.

- Demonstrated experience in software development, software testing, or firmware validation.





- Strong understanding of system architecture, operating system fundamentals, bootloaders, and device drivers.

- Proficiency in Linux and/or Windows operating systems;

experience with driver development is preferred.

- Good understanding of software testing methodologies, continuous integration (CI), and test automation.

- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with excellent written and spoken English.

Nice-to-Have Skills and Experience

- Experience with Python programming and shell scripting.

- Basic understanding of the Linux kernel, system software, device drivers, and Android internals.

- Familiarity with open-source development workflows and contribution processes.

- Experience in software profiling, instrumentation, performance analysis, and optimization.

- Experience in firmware verification, validation, and testing.

- Knowledge of software testing techniques and the advantages of CI and automated test systems.

- Experience with Security Development Lifecycle (SDL) practices.

- Familiarity with software development methodologies, including Agile.
