Electrical Department Incharge

Ramtex

Ramtex is looking for an experienced and responsible Electrical Department Incharge to lead and manage our electrical maintenance and operations. The candidate must have textile industry experience.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage the day-to-day functioning of the electrical department.
- Supervise electrical maintenance, repairs, and troubleshooting.
- Ensure uninterrupted power supply and smooth operation of electrical systems and machinery.
- Plan and execute preventive and breakdown maintenance.
- Lead and supervise electricians and electrical maintenance staff.
- Monitor electrical panels, motors, drives, transformers, DG sets, and other electrical equipment.
- Ensure compliance with electrical safety standards and statutory requirements.
- Maintain records of maintenance activities, breakdowns, spare parts, and energy consumption.
- Coordinate with production and other departments to minimize machine downtime.
- Identify opportunities for energy saving and improvement in electrical efficiency.
- Manage electrical spares, vendors,



and maintenance requirements.
- Ensure proper housekeeping and safety practices within the electrical department.

Candidate Requirements
- Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Electrical Engineering.
- 5–10 years of relevant industrial experience, preferably in textile/manufacturing.
- Solid knowledge of industrial electrical systems and machinery.
- Experience in preventive and breakdown maintenance.
- Good leadership, troubleshooting, and team-management skills.
- Knowledge of electrical safety and statutory compliance.
- Ability to work independently and handle breakdowns under pressure.
