Base Build High-rise Buildings, Data Centers, Airports, Industrial & Commercial Projects.

Qualification

B.E./B.Tech or Diploma in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering.

Location: Bangalore.

Requirement : Immediate

1. Review and understand tender/RFQ documents including BOQ, technical specifications, drawings, GCC, SCC, and other contract documents.
2. Prepare and submit techno-commercial pre-bid queries and coordinate with clients for clarifications.
3. Float enquiries to vendors, suppliers, and subcontractors; obtain and evaluate techno-commercial quotations.
4. Prepare quantity take-offs (QTO), detailed cost estimates, and BOQ pricing considering materials, labour, equipment, subcontracting, logistics, overheads, and contingencies.
5. Identify scope gaps, exclusions, deviations, commercial risks, and estimation assumptions during tender evaluation.
6. Coordinate with Design, Procurement, Planning, Contracts, Commercial, and Project teams for technical and commercial inputs.
7. Prepare techno-commercial offers, bid submissions, bid summaries, management approval notes, and ensure timely submission of tenders.

Develop value engineering and cost optimization proposals without compromising technical requirements and project quality.
9. Ensure compliance with client specifications, applicable codes & standards (IS, NBC, NFPA, ASHRAE, IEC, etc.), and statutory requirements.
10. Participate in pre-bid meetings, site visits, technical discussions, and commercial negotiations with clients.
11. Track tender status, maintain regular follow-up with clients, and gather market intelligence on projects, clients, competitors, and industry trends.
12. Maintain vendor databases, historical cost records, productivity norms, and estimation benchmarks for future tenders.
13. Support project handover to the execution team and clarify estimation assumptions, inclusions, exclusions, and contractual obligations.
14. Analyze tender results (won/lost), identify key learnings, and implement improvements for future bid submissions.
15. Prepare and review tender documentation using AutoCAD, Microsoft Excel (Advanced), ERP, and estimation software.

Preferred Skills
- Robust knowledge of HVAC, Fire Protection, Plumbing, HT/LT Electrical, and ELV Systems.
- Sound understanding of IS, NBC, NFPA, ASHRAE, IEC, and other relevant standards.
- Strong analytical, negotiation, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tenders simultaneously and meet strict submission deadlines.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Advanced Microsoft Excel, ERP, and estimation software.
