An electrician installs, maintains, and repairs electrical power, lighting, and control systems in residential, commercial, or industrial buildings.

Core Responsibilities

- Installation: Set up wiring, conduits, circuit breakers, lighting fixtures, and control panels.

- Diagnosis & Repair: Troubleshoot electrical malfunctions using testing devices like multimeters and oscilloscopes.

- Blueprint Reading: Interpret technical diagrams, schematics, and architectural plans to map out electrical layouts.

- Code Compliance: Ensure all work adheres to local, state, and national safety and electrical regulations.

- Maintenance: Perform routine inspections on transformers, motors, and distribution boards to prevent downtime.

Qualifications & Requirements

- Education:



High school diploma or equivalent, plus a vocational diploma, technical certificate, or electrical apprenticeship.

- Licensing: Valid electrician license or certification (such as Apprentice, Journeyman, or Master Electrician depending on experience level).

- Skills: Proficiency with hand and power tools, robust problem-solving abilities, physical stamina, and attention to detail
