Role & responsibilities

- Lead direct procurement of electrical, electronic, semiconductor, PCB/PCBA, power electronics, and electromechanical components.

- Develop category strategies and manage high-value procurement spend, RFQs/RFPs, supplier selection, negotiations, and contracts.

- Drive cost reduction, should-cost/clean-sheet costing, benchmarking, and value engineering (VA/VE).

- Develop local and global suppliers, improve supplier performance, and drive localization and import substitution.

- Manage alternate sourcing, dual sourcing, component obsolescence, and supply chain risks.

- Collaborate with R&D;, Engineering, Quality, Manufacturing, and Supply Chain teams on Recent Product Introduction (NPI) and component development.

- Lead and develop procurement teams, establish KPIs, and drive commercial excellence.

Preferred candidate profile

- 1522 years of experience in direct procurement/strategic sourcing,



with substantial exposure to Electrical & Electronic components.

- Strong sourcing expertise in electrical/electronic components, semiconductors, PCB/PCBA, power electronics, or electromechanical assemblies.

- Proven experience managing large procurement spends and complex supplier portfolios.

- Strong expertise in cost reduction, commercial negotiations, should-costing, supplier development, and localization.

- Experience in NPI and cross-functional collaboration with R&D;/Engineering.

- Proven team leadership, stakeholder management, and supply risk mitigation capabilities.

Preferred Industries: Electrical, Electronics, Industrial Automation, Automotive, Energy Management, and Engineering Manufacturing.
