Role & responsibilities

- Operate and monitor the Effluent Treatment Plant (ETP) on a daily basis.

- Monitor ETP parameters such as pH, TSS, COD, BOD, and other relevant parameters.

- Ensure proper dosing of chemicals and maintain chemical consumption records.

- Monitor pumps, blowers, agitators, clarifiers, filters, and other ETP equipment.

- Conduct routine inspections and identify operational issues.

- Maintain ETP logbooks, records, and daily operational reports.

- Coordinate with the laboratory team for water and effluent testing.

- Ensure treated effluent meets applicable environmental standards.

- Handle sludge management and disposal activities as per guidelines.

- Maintain proper housekeeping and safety standards around the ETP area.

- Coordinate with maintenance teams for preventive and breakdown maintenance.

- Ensure compliance with company EHS and environmental procedures.

- Support documentation required for regulatory and environmental compliance.
