The Ideal Home & Garden (TIHG) is looking for a sharp, creative and detail-oriented professional to join our editorial team.

Location: Remote | India

Preference: Candidates based outside Mumbai are particularly encouraged to apply

Experience: 1–3 years

Salary: ₹30,000–₹35,000 per month

We're an independent design and interiors publication covering homes, architecture, designers, compelling spaces and contemporary living.

We're looking for someone who can think like an editor, write well and execute independently — with a strong visual eye, excellent communication skills and genuine interest in design.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

- Research, write and edit content on interiors, architecture, design and lifestyle.
- Create social media carousels, captions, home tours, short features and other digital content.
- Work with Canva
- Manage content calendars, scheduling, publishing, credits, tags and quality checks.
- Coordinate with architects, interior designers, photographers, contributors, brands and PR teams.
- Manage event invitations and guest lists
- Support editorial shoots, interviews, launches and events when required.

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
- Excellent written and spoken English.
- Strong editorial judgment and a refined visual sensibility.
- Genuine interest in architecture, interiors, design and publishing.




- Confidence in professional communication and guest coordination.
- Someone proactive, resourceful, responsive and comfortable working independently.
- Working knowledge of Instagram, Canva and digital content creation.

Experience with magazines, digital publications, design platforms or editorial-led content studios is preferred. This is a hands-on editorial, social media and events coordination role — not primarily a PR, influencer marketing or account-management position.

The role is remote, with occasional travel for shoots and events. Company-required travel expenses will be covered. Students and graduates from Mass Communication, Journalism, Media Studies, Communications, Digital Marketing and related fields are encouraged to apply. Recent graduates with strong writing skills, visual sensibility and relevant portfolios are welcome.
