We are seeking an experienced Drive Test Expert to join a telecommunications engineering team supporting 4G LTE and 5G wireless network testing projects. This is a remote contract opportunity based in India, ideal for professionals with strong hands-on experience in RF drive testing, network performance validation, and technical support for field testing teams.

The role involves working with industry-leading tools such as XCAL, XCAP, TEMS, ACTIX, and QXDM to ensure successful execution of wireless network testing activities.

This is an excellent opportunity for a telecom professional who enjoys solving complex RF challenges and supporting next-generation wireless networks. You will play a key role in guiding field drive testing teams, troubleshooting technical issues, and ensuring successful site acceptance and network performance testing. With the flexibility of remote work, this position offers exposure to diverse 4G/5G testing activities while allowing you to expand your expertise in RF performance analysis and drive test operations.

Required Skills & Experience

- 3–5+ years of hands-on experience in telecom drive testing and RF network testing.
- Strong understanding of 4G LTE and 5G NR technologies and network KPIs.
- Hands-on experience with XCAL, XCAP, TEMS, ACTIX, and QXDM.
- Experience with scanner-based drive testing, configuration, and troubleshooting.
- Ability to configure and troubleshoot UEs, scanners, MPM4, EZMO, and other drive testing equipment.
- Experience preparing drive test scripts and supporting Site Acceptance Testing (ATP), Cluster Drives, Market Drives, Scanner Drives, and MOS Drives.




- Strong troubleshooting skills related to network throughput and drive testing issues.
- Experience supporting and coordinating with field drive testing teams remotely.
- Strong communication skills and proficiency in MS Excel and MS Office.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent graduation in Telecommunications, Electronics, or a related field.

Desired Skills & Experience

- Experience with Google Earth, MapInfo, TAQI, and EST navigation file creation.
- Knowledge of RF optimization and network performance analysis.
- Experience tracking ATP site pass/fail results and field testing productivity.
- Ability to support multiple field testing teams simultaneously.
- Solid analytical skills and experience preparing testing reports and performance metrics.
- Familiarity with telecom operator testing procedures and site acceptance requirements.

- 25% 4G/5G RF Testing and KPI Analysis
- 20% Scanner, UE, and Equipment Configuration/Troubleshooting
- 15% Drive Test Scripts, Navigation Files, and Reporting

Daily Responsibilities

- 60% Hands-On Technical Support and Troubleshooting
- 20% Drive Test Team Coordination and Performance Monitoring
- 20% Collaboration with RF Engineers, Clients, and Field Teams
