Job Title: Distribution Center Manager Urban Farms Co (West Zone)

Role Summary:

The Distribution Center Manager will lead and manage end-to-end distribution operations across the West Zone (Maharashtra). The role is responsible for ensuring efficient logistics, maintaining product quality, and delivering a seamless farm-to-customer supply chain through strong operational control and stakeholder coordination.

Key Responsibilities:

- Lead and manage zonal distribution operations across the West Zone
- Oversee end-to-end logistics: inbound, DC/XD operations, and last-mile delivery
- Ensure achievement of delivery timelines, service levels, and customer satisfaction metrics
- Collaborate closely with Sales and Planning teams to design and execute distribution networks
- Monitor and manage performance of distribution partners (DCs, CCs, logistics vendors)
- Ensure quality of produce through coordination with farm and operations teams
- Drive daily operational excellence across all distribution nodes
- Manage cost budgets, optimize logistics spend,



and ensure cost efficiency
- Identify and execute network expansion opportunities across new locations
- Maintain data tracking, reporting, and performance dashboards

Key Requirements:

- Graduate/Postgraduate in Agriculture, Engineering, or relevant field
- 6–10 years of experience in distribution, logistics, or supply chain operations
- Strong understanding of DC operations, last-mile delivery, and logistics networks
- Experience in handling multi-location operations and vendor management
- Positive communication skills in English, Hindi, and local language
- Robust working knowledge of Excel, PowerPoint, and ERP systems

Preferred Skills:

- Experience in perishable supply chain / agri-produce logistics
- Strong problem-solving and cost optimization mindset
- Ability to work in fast-paced, high-growth environments
- Team leadership and stakeholder management skills
