About the Role

Skillzenloop is looking for a motivated DevOps Engineer Intern who is interested in cloud computing, automation, infrastructure management, and software deployment. The selected candidate will assist with development and deployment workflows, learn infrastructure automation concepts, and gain practical exposure to tools used for building, testing, deploying, and monitoring applications.

Key Responsibilities

- Assist in setting up and maintaining development and testing environments.
- Learn and support continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) workflows.
- Work with Git and GitHub to manage source code and collaborate on development tasks.
- Assist in automating repetitive development and deployment activities.
- Gain exposure to Linux commands, shell scripting, and server administration fundamentals.
- Support application deployment and configuration activities under guidance.
- Work with Docker to understand containerisation concepts.
- Assist in monitoring application performance and identifying basic deployment issues.
- Learn cloud computing fundamentals using platforms such as AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud.
- Help maintain deployment documentation and infrastructure configuration records.
- Assist in troubleshooting build failures and setting-related issues.
- Collaborate with developers to improve deployment processes and development workflows.

Skills and Qualifications

- Basic understanding of Linux operating systems and command-line operations.
- Familiarity with Git and GitHub.
- Basic knowledge of networking concepts and web application architecture.




- Understanding of software development and deployment fundamentals.
- Familiarity with shell scripting or Python is beneficial.
- Basic understanding of Docker and containerisation is an advantage.
- Knowledge of CI/CD concepts is preferred.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud is beneficial.
- Basic understanding of HTTP, DNS, and server configuration is an advantage.
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities.
- Willingness to learn automation tools and infrastructure management practices.

Eligibility Criteria

- Candidates pursuing or holding a degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field may apply.
- Freshers and entry-level candidates are welcome.
- Candidates with Linux, cloud computing, automation, or deployment-related academic projects are encouraged to apply.
- Applicants should have access to a computer and a reliable internet connection.
