The organization focuses on addressing challenges in India’s healthcare system, including scarcity of medical professionals and lack of awareness about drugs and diseases.

CHEARS promotes task shifting and balanced distribution of responsibilities among healthcare professionals to improve the quality of patient care. Team members contribute to initiatives that combine technology, education, and health advocacy.

Role Description This is a remote internship role in Data Analytics at CHEARS | Innovating with technology. The intern will assist in collecting, cleaning, and organizing health-related and program data from various sources.

Day-to-day responsibilities include performing exploratory data analysis, generating basic reports and dashboards, and helping interpret trends to support educational and awareness initiatives.



The role also involves collaborating with mentors to design simple analytical models, document findings, and present insights to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. The intern will work closely with the team to support data-driven decision-making across CHEARS projects.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong Analytical Skills and foundational Analytics abilities for problem-solving and insight generation.
- Candidates should possess skills in Data Analytics and Business Analytics to interpret datasets and support organizational decision-making.
- Candidates should possess knowledge of Statistics to perform basic quantitative analysis and validate findings.
- Familiarity with data tools such as Excel, Google Sheets, or introductory experience with SQL, Python, or R is beneficial.
- Ability to communicate analytical results clearly in written and verbal form to diverse audiences.
- Strong attention to detail, curiosity about healthcare and AI, and willingness to learn in a remote, collaborative setting.
- Current enrollment in or recent completion of a program in data science, statistics, computer science, public health, or a related field is preferred.
