About the Role

Backdropsource is looking for a Data Analyst Intern who is analytically curious, detail-oriented, and comfortable working with real business data from day one. This role is ideal for someone who wants hands-on exposure to digital analytics, dashboards, and performance reporting in an e-commerce environment.

You will work closely with the marketing and business teams to track performance, build reports, and derive actionable insights that influence decision-making.

Key Responsibilities

As a Data Analyst Intern, you will:

- Track, analyze, and interpret website and campaign performance using Google Analytics 4 (GA4)
- Build and maintain dashboards in Looker Studio (Data Studio) for business reporting
- Work with large datasets in Advanced Excel (pivot tables, formulas, data cleaning,

VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, etc.)
- Assist in creating visual reports in Tableau for leadership and marketing teams
- Monitor key business metrics such as traffic, conversions, ROAS, CAC, and user behavior
- Support the marketing team with performance analysis for paid campaigns
- Identify trends, anomalies,



and opportunities from data
- Prepare weekly and monthly performance reports

Required Skills The ideal candidate should have:

- Basic to intermediate understanding of Google Analytics 4 (GA4)
- Hands-on experience with Looker Studio dashboards
- Strong working knowledge of Advanced Excel
- Familiarity with Tableau (basic to intermediate level)
- Ability to work with numbers, charts, and datasets
- Logical thinking and problem-solving ability
- Good communication skills to explain data in straightforward terms

Preferred Background

- Students or fresh graduates in Data Analytics, Business Analytics, Statistics, Mathematics, or related fields
- Prior internship or project experience in analytics is a plus
- Interest in digital marketing or e-commerce analytics is preferred
