We are hiring a Data Analyst on behalf of our client. This is a remote role, so you can work from anywhere. You will collect, analyze, and interpret data to uncover insights that drive smarter business decisions. Role & responsibilities

- Collect, clean, and organize data from multiple sources
- Analyze data to identify trends, patterns, and business insights
- Write and optimize SQL queries to extract and analyze data
- Build and maintain dashboards and reports using Power BI, Tableau, or similar tools
- Create charts and visualizations to present findings clearly to stakeholders
- Track key business metrics (KPIs) and share regular performance reports
- Support business teams by answering data-related questions and ad-hoc requests
- Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and quality across reports
- Collaborate with product, marketing, finance, and operations teams through online tools
- Document data processes, definitions, and reporting standards

Mentor junior analysts and independently own end-to-end reporting projects

Preferred candidate profile

- Bachelor's/Master's degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Economics, Engineering, or related field
- Freshers: Basic knowledge of SQL, Excel, and data visualization; internships or academic projects are a plus
- Experienced (0 to 2 years): Hands-on experience in data analysis, reporting, and dashboard building
- Strong knowledge of SQL for querying and analyzing data
- Proficiency in MS Excel (formulas, pivot tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP)
- Experience or familiarity with data visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau, or Looker)
- Basic knowledge of Python or R for data analysis
- Positive understanding of statistics and data interpretation
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Good communication skills, able to explain insights to non-technical teams
- Self-motivated and able to work independently with minimal supervision
- Comfortable with video meetings and online collaboration tools
- Stable internet connection and own laptop
