Wahy Lab Solutions is looking for a motivated Cybersecurity & Vulnerability Assessment Intern to support security operations, identify potential threats, assess system vulnerabilities, and strengthen the security of networks, applications, and IT infrastructure. This role offers practical exposure to cybersecurity tools, security analysis, and real-world security practices.

Key Responsibilities

- Monitor security alerts, events, and potential cyber threats.
- Perform vulnerability assessments and assist with security testing.
- Identify security weaknesses in systems, networks, and applications.
- Analyse system logs, security events, and suspicious activities.
- Assist with threat detection, incident investigation, and response.
- Support network security assessments and security configuration reviews.
- Apply security best practices and recommend risk mitigation measures.
- Prepare vulnerability assessment reports and technical documentation.
- Work with cybersecurity tools, SIEM platforms, and security assessment technologies.
- Follow ethical hacking practices and authorised security testing procedures.

Required Skills

- Basic understanding of Cybersecurity, Information Security, and Threat Analysis.
- Knowledge of networking concepts, TCP/IP, DNS, ports, and protocols.
- Familiarity with Windows/Linux operating systems.
- Understanding of vulnerability assessment, risk analysis,



and security testing.
- Basic awareness of SIEM, log analysis, and incident response.
- Knowledge of security tools such as Nmap, Wireshark, or Nessus is an advantage.
- Analytical thinking, problem-solving, and attention to detail.
- Good communication, reporting, and documentation skills.

Qualification

- Any Degree / Diploma / PG / ITI.
- Freshers are welcome to apply.
- Candidates with a solid interest in cybersecurity and information security are encouraged to apply.
