Job Summary

We are looking for a qualified Chartered Accountant (CA) for a Credit Underwriter role in Delhi on a full-time, 6-month assignment. The candidate will be responsible for evaluating credit proposals, assessing the financial health of borrowers, analysing credit risks, and providing recommendations to support informed lending decisions.

Key Responsibilities

- Analyse financial statements, balance sheets, profit and loss accounts, and cash flow statements to assess borrowers' creditworthiness.

- Evaluate credit proposals, loan applications, and financial documents.

- Conduct financial and risk analysis to identify potential credit risks.

- Assess repayment capacity, debt obligations, liquidity, and overall financial stability.

- Review financial ratios, credit history, and relevant supporting documents.

- Prepare credit assessment reports and underwriting recommendations.

- Ensure compliance with internal credit policies, risk guidelines, and applicable regulatory requirements.

- Identify red flags, discrepancies, and potential risks in credit applications.





- Coordinate with internal teams and relevant stakeholders for credit assessment and approval.

- Maintain accurate documentation and records of credit underwriting decisions.

Required Qualifications & Skills

- Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA) is mandatory.

- Strong knowledge of financial statement analysis, credit risk assessment, and financial modelling.

- Understanding of lending processes, credit appraisal, and underwriting principles.

- Strong analytical, numerical, and problem-solving skills.

- Proficiency in MS Excel and financial analysis tools.

- Excellent attention to detail and documentation skills.

- Valuable communication and stakeholder management abilities.
