About the Role

We are looking for storytellers who don't wait for content ideas. They go out and find them.

At Pitaara, we're building a contemporary Indian gifting and packaging brand inspired by the extraordinary diversity of Indian art, culture and craftsmanship.

We are looking for a creative, curious and independent content creator who can discover stories within and beyond Pitaara, turn them into compelling visual narratives and create content that people genuinely want to watch.

Whether it's the story behind a Pitaara box, an unexplored Indian artform, an interesting moment at our office, a cinematic product film or an outdoor art vlog, we want someone who can recognise the creative potential in everyday experiences.

Key Responsibilities

- Story Hunting & Ideation: Independently discover content opportunities, conceptualise engaging stories, write compelling scripts and create robust hooks that drive audience retention.
- Filmmaking & Content Production: Plan, shoot and edit reels, short films, long format videos, product videos, art vlogs, behind-the-scenes content and brand stories. Be equally comfortable behind and in front of the camera.
- Creative Exploration: Explore Indian artforms, crafts, festivals and cultural experiences through indoor and outdoor shoots,



bringing fresh and contemporary perspectives to traditional subjects.
- Content Strategy & Growth: Develop and execute growth-focused content plans for Instagram, YouTube (and YouTube shorts) and other platforms while maintaining Pitaara's visual aesthetics and brand identity.

Skills & Qualifications We value creative initiative, originality and storytelling ability over formal qualifications.

The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of short-form content, visual storytelling, contemporary filmmaking, cinematography, lighting, framing and video editing.

Proficiency with tools such as Adobe Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, CapCut or similar software is preferred.

Candidates should be confident communicating on camera, comfortable working independently and willing to undertake outdoor shoots as required. A genuine interest in Indian art, cultural traditions and craftsmanship is highly desirable.
