About the Role

RiskMan Consulting LLP is looking for professionals to conduct business process audits for automobile sector clients, including OEMs, auto component manufacturers, and dealerships. The role involves audit execution, risk assessment, internal controls testing, and client coordination.

Key Responsibilities

- Audit manufacturing processes, including production planning, BOM accuracy, scrap, rework, and subcontracting.
- Review procurement, vendor management, inventory, sales and distribution, warranty claims, capex, plant maintenance, and logistics.
- Conduct risk-based audits covering procure-to-pay, order-to-cash, inventory, fixed assets, and financial reporting.
- Prepare process flowcharts, process notes, and Risk and Control Matrices (RCMs).
- Test internal controls, evaluate audit evidence, identify control gaps, and recommend corrective actions.
- Support IFC/ICFR testing under the Companies Act, 2013.
- Use Excel and tools such as IDEA, ACL, or Power BI to identify exceptions, anomalies, and financial leakages.
- Prepare audit working papers and reports, coordinate with client stakeholders, and track remediation.
- Manage assigned audit areas independently according to experience; Consultant-level professionals will also guide junior team members.
- Travel to client plants, dealerships, and other locations as required.





Required Qualifications
- CA / CA Inter, MBA (Finance), M.Com, B.Com, or a relevant Commerce, Finance, or Accounting qualification.
- 1–5 years of experience in internal audit, business process audit, or risk advisory; articleship experience is considered.
- Knowledge of internal controls, risk assessment, and ICAI Standards on Internal Audit.
- Strong analytical, documentation, report-writing, and communication skills.
- Proficiency in MS Excel (Pivot Tables, Lookups, and data analysis), Word, and PowerPoint.
- Ability to manage multiple assignments and meet deadlines.

Preferred Skills
- Experience in automobile sector audits, including OEMs, component manufacturers, or dealerships.
- Familiarity with SAP modules (MM, PP, SD, QM) and manufacturing cost concepts.
- Awareness of IATF 16949 and government schemes such as PLI.
- CIA, CISA, or CFE certification, or willingness to pursue certification.
- Experience with an audit firm, Big 4, consulting firm, or in-house audit function.
