Kalakshetra Foundation, an autonomous body under the Ministry of Culture, Government of India, invites applications for the post of Consultant - Outreach & Museum on a contractual basis for one year, extendable based on performance.

Essential Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree from a recognized university OR Diploma/Post Diploma from Kalakshetra Foundation.

Desirable Qualifications:

- Knowledge of art and culture, particularly Bharatanatyam, Carnatic music, visual arts and crafts.
- Knowledge of Tamil and Hindi.

Required skill set and experience:

- Excellent writing, editing and verbal communication skills.
- Experience in social media management, promotional activities and marketing strategies.
- Solid interpersonal skills and the ability to coordinate with diverse groups.
- Knowledge of layout and design for print and web-based promotional materials.
- Ability to prioritize tasks, organize assignments and meet deadlines.
- Flexibility, adaptability and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe Creative Suite, CorelDRAW and related tools.
- Experience managing online streaming platforms and organizing webinars through video conferencing platforms.
- Creativity in presenting concepts.




- Ability to catalogue museum artefacts under different categories, maintain data backups according to institutional guidelines, and handle museum artefacts carefully.
