Consultant Data Engineer (AWS & Scala) - 3 to 7 Years - Bangalore

We are hiring a Consultant Data Engineer with 57 years of experience in data engineering and expertise in AWS, Scala, Apache Spark, Python, and Shell Scripting. The ideal candidate will be responsible for building scalable data pipelines, processing large data sets, and developing efficient data engineering solutions.

Responsibilities –

- Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines using AWS and Apache Spark.
- Develop and optimize data processing applications using Scala and Python.
- Work with large datasets to build effective and reliable data engineering solutions.
- Leverage AWS services to build, deploy, and manage cloud-based data processing workflows.
- Develop and maintain Shell scripts to automate data processing and operational tasks.
- Optimize data pipelines for performance, scalability, and reliability.
- Troubleshoot data processing issues and ensure data quality and consistency.




- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and deliver effective solutions.
- Follow best practices for coding, testing, documentation, and deployment.

Requirements –

- 5–7 years of experience in Data Engineering or a related field.
- Strong hands-on experience with AWS, Scala, Apache Spark, Python, and Shell Scripting.
- Experience developing and optimizing data pipelines and distributed data processing applications.
- Good understanding of cloud-based data engineering concepts and ETL/ELT processes.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a hybrid work environment.
