Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Consultant specializing in Portfolio Valuation to join our energetic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing expert valuation services for a wide range of financial instruments and illiquid assets across various industries. This role requires a deep understanding of valuation methodologies, financial modeling, and relevant accounting and regulatory standards.

The Consultant will work closely with clients, including private equity funds, hedge funds, and corporate clients, to deliver accurate and defensible valuation opinions.

Key Responsibilities:

- Perform independent valuations of complex financial instruments, including derivatives, private equity and debt investments, illiquid securities, and other alternative assets, for financial reporting (ASC 820, IFRS 13) and transactional purposes.

- Develop, review, and refine sophisticated financial models (e.g., DCF, market multiple, option pricing models, Monte Carlo simulations) to support valuation conclusions.

- Conduct thorough market research and data analysis to identify relevant comparable transactions,



public companies, and market trends impacting valuation.

- Prepare comprehensive valuation reports and presentations, articulating methodologies, assumptions, and conclusions clearly and concisely for both internal and external stakeholders.

- Engage directly with clients to understand their valuation needs, present findings, and address queries, ensuring high levels of client satisfaction.

- Collaborate with audit teams, tax specialists, and other internal experts to ensure valuation opinions align with broader client objectives and regulatory requirements.

- Stay abreast of industry trends, accounting pronouncements, regulatory changes, and evolving valuation best practices.

- Assist in business development activities, including preparing proposals and participating in client pitches.

- Mentor and guide junior team members, fostering their professional growth and technical development.

- Contribute to the continuous improvement of valuation tools, templates, and processes.
