About us
We are building a companionship service that helps people form real, lasting relationships. It starts with hosted in-person experiences and grows into an app that keeps those connections going.
We are at day one, and you would be one of the first people on the team.
The role
You will be the face of our events: you plan them, market them, fill them and run them on the ground, and you look after every member. You report to the CEO.
This is a hands-on, in-the-field role. Weekends are core working days, with time off during the week.
What you'll do
· Plan and set up events: build them from scratch — formats, venues, budgets, suppliers and run-sheets.
· Drive footfall: market every event through community partnerships, local outreach, WhatsApp, social media and paid ads, against a turnout target.
· Run events on the day: venue setup, check-in, hosting, timing and wrap-up.
· Welcome every member: call each new member before their first event, meet them at the door and introduce them to others.
· Manage hosts: recruit, brief and schedule part-time hosts and volunteers.
· Keep the community active: run member WhatsApp groups, reminders, RSVPs and follow-ups so first-timers come back.
· Track results: turnout, repeat attendance, cost per attendee and member feedback, reported weekly to the CEO.
· Capture content: photos,
short videos and member stories for marketing, always with consent.
· Help shape the app: test it with members and pass on what they say.
What you'll bring
· Experience: a minimum of 5 years in events, event marketing, hospitality or community roles.
· A proven record of filling events: you can show turnout numbers and explain exactly how you got people there.
· Hands-on event marketing: community partnerships, local outreach, WhatsApp, social media and small paid campaigns.
· Experience setting up events from scratch: venues, suppliers, budgets and run-sheets.
· Warmth and patience with people: you remember names and stories, and people feel looked after around you.
· Solid organisation: nothing slips on event day.
· Confidence: on the phone and in approaching strangers.
· Composure: calm under pressure when something goes wrong mid-event.
· Languages: fluent English and Hindi.
· Location: based in Mumbai and comfortable with regular weekend work.
Nice to have
· Hospitality training or a hotel, F&B; or guest-relations background.
· Experience running WhatsApp communities or social media pages.
· Basic photography or video skills for social content.
· First-aid certification.
· Marathi or Gujarati.
What we offer
· A front-row seat: build something new, with real responsibility from the first month.
· Meaningful work: success is measured in friendships made, not clicks.
· Room to grow: step into a senior role as we open in more cities.
