Role Description The Collection Officer (AM1/AM2) for CV and CE loans at the Ranchi location is responsible for managing and executing collection activities for assigned commercial vehicle and construction equipment loan portfolios. This full-time, in office role involves daily follow-up with customers on overdue payments, negotiating repayment plans within defined guidelines, and ensuring timely recovery while maintaining respectful and professional interactions. The role includes regular field visits, updating collection records and systems, preparing basic reports on portfolio performance,



and coordinating with branch teams and supervisors on escalated cases.

Officer is also expected to promote customer awareness of repayment obligations, comply with regulatory and internal policies, and support overall asset quality and risk management objectives in the region.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong Debt Collection skills, including field recovery, negotiation, and adherence to fair collection practices.
- Candidates should possess solid Analytical Skills for reviewing loan portfolios, assessing repayment capacity, and preparing basic collection reports.
- Candidates should possess Customer Service and Communication skills to interact professionally with diverse customers and resolve issues constructively.
- Candidates should possess foundational Finance knowledge related to loan products, repayment structures, and banking processes.
- Relevant experience in collections or lending (preferably CV/CE or other retail assets) in banking or NBFCs is beneficial.
- Minimum qualification: graduate degree in any discipline; a background in commerce, finance, or business is preferred.
- Familiarity with local geography of Ranchi and surrounding areas, along with proficiency in local language(s) and basic computer skills, is advantageous.
- Ability to work on-site, conduct regular field visits, meet targets under pressure, and comply with regulatory and bank guidelines is required.
