Job Summary

RARA Tuff Glass is looking for an experienced CNC Automatic Glass Cutting Machine Operator to join our glass processing production team in Hyderabad.

The selected candidate will operate and monitor our SANKEN SKCL-3725A CNC Automatic Glass Cutting Production Line. Candidates with hands-on experience operating comparable automatic or CNC glass-cutting machines are encouraged to apply.

Prior experience with the SANKEN brand is not mandatory. Machine-specific training will be provided to the selected candidate.

Key Responsibilities

- Operate and monitor CNC/automatic glass-cutting machines safely and efficiently.
- Read and understand glass cutting layouts, production orders, dimensions and technical drawings.
- Prepare cutting jobs and enter or verify cutting requirements using the machine control system or cutting optimisation software.
- Check machine settings, cutting wheel condition, cutting pressure and other operating parameters.
- Ensure accurate cutting dimensions and minimise glass wastage.
- Monitor cutting quality and identify cutting defects or machine abnormalities.
- Coordinate with loading, unloading, glass handling and production teams to maintain workflow.
- Perform routine machine checks and report technical issues promptly.
- Follow production schedules, quality standards and workplace safety procedures.
- Maintain cleanliness and discipline around the machine and work area.

Required Qualifications and Experience
- Hands-on experience operating a CNC or automatic glass-cutting machine is required.
- Experience in toughened glass, float glass or architectural glass processing is preferred.
- Ability to understand cutting dimensions, layouts and production requirements.




- Basic computer and machine-control knowledge.
- Understanding of glass handling, cutting quality and production safety.
- Ability to work with production helpers and coordinate with other departments.
- Willingness to relocate to Hyderabad, Telangana.

Preferred Skills
- Experience with CMS, Intermac, Bottero, LiSEC, Hegla, Bavelloni or comparable glass-cutting machinery.
- Experience with automatic glass loading, positioning and cutting operations.
- Familiarity with cutting optimisation software, including PerfectCut or equivalent systems.
- Experience handling different glass thicknesses and types.
- Basic troubleshooting and production wastage control.

- Glass thickness capacity: 2–19 mm
- Maximum processing size: 2440 × 3660 mm

Candidates do not need prior experience with the SANKEN brand. Training on the specific machine will be provided.

Important Eligibility Note

Candidates with only metal CNC, VMC, lathe, milling, wood CNC or acrylic CNC experience will not be considered unless they also have practical experience operating a CNC/automatic glass-cutting machine.
