- Planning and Feasibility Studies: Conduct site investigations, soil tests, and topographical data analysis to check project viability.

- Design and Blueprints: Create technical specifications, structural calculations, and design layouts using computer-aided software like AutoCAD or Civil 3D.

- Site Supervision: Monitor construction activities on-site to ensure work follows the approved designs and safety regulations.

- Quality Control: Test building materials such as concrete and steel to verify they meet structural and regulatory standards.

- Budgeting and Estimation: Calculate material quantities, labor hours, and total project costs while managing financial resources.

- Stakeholder Coordination:



Liaise with architects, contractors, government authorities, and clients to keep projects on schedule. [1, 2, 3, 4]

Key Qualifications & Requirements

- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering (B.E. / B.Tech or Diploma)

- Technical Skills: Proficiency in CAD/AutoCAD, structural analysis, site grading, utility design, and blueprint interpretation.

- Licensure/Certifications: Professional Engineer (PE) license or Chartered Engineer (CEng) status depending on local regulations.
