Role Description The Civil Draftsman will work on-site in Ahmedabad in a full-time capacity, preparing detailed civil and architectural drawings for building projects. Day-to-day responsibilities include creating and updating technical drawings, coordinating with architects and engineers, and translating design concepts into precise engineering drawings using CAD tools.





The role involves supporting building plan approvals and statutory submissions by ensuring drawings meet applicable regulations and standards.

The Civil

Draftsman will also assist in revising plans based on feedback from project stakeholders and regulatory authorities, maintaining organized documentation and drawing records throughout the project lifecycle.

Qualifications

- Strong skills in Civil Engineering Design and Civil Engineering Drafting, with the ability to interpret and develop design concepts into detailed plans.
- Proficiency in Technical Drawing and Engineering Drawings, including understanding of scales, dimensions, annotations, and construction detailing.
- Hands-on experience with Computer-Aided Design (CAD) software relevant to civil and architectural drafting.
- Diploma or degree in Civil Engineering, Architectural Drafting, or a related field.
- Knowledge of local building bylaws, regulatory standards, and approval processes in Ahmedabad and Gujarat is an advantage.
- Attention to detail, solid spatial visualization, and the ability to work accurately under time constraints.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills to coordinate with architects, engineers, and liaison teams.
- Prior experience in building plan preparation, structural drawings, or consultancy environments is preferred.
