Role Description The Civil Project Engineer is a full-time, on-site role based in Chandigarh, responsible for supporting the planning, design, and execution of civil engineering projects. Day-to-day tasks include preparing and reviewing civil drawings, assisting in site development layouts, and coordinating stormwater management designs in line with local codes and standards.

The role involves monitoring construction activities, conducting site inspections, and ensuring quality control throughout project implementation.

The Civil Project

Engineer will collaborate with senior engineers, contractors, and other stakeholders to resolve technical issues,



track project progress, and maintain accurate documentation. The position also includes preparing reports, assisting with quantity estimates, and contributing to project schedules and cost control.

Qualifications

- Strong foundation in Civil Engineering and Civil Engineering Design, with the ability to interpret plans and specifications.
- Experience or knowledge in Stormwater Management and related hydrology/hydraulics calculations.
- Practical understanding of Site Development, including grading, roads, utilities, and drainage planning.
- Skills in Quality Control for construction activities, including inspection, testing, and compliance with standards.
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a closely related field.
- Proficiency with civil design and drafting software (e.g., AutoCAD, Civil 3D or equivalent) and MS Office tools.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills, with attention to detail and safety practices.
- Ability to work in office in Chandigarh, collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, and communicate clearly with stakeholders.
- Relevant internships or prior experience in infrastructure or land development projects is an advantage.
