Role Description The Chief Business Officer (CBO) is a full-time, on-site leadership role based in Mumbai, responsible for driving Bullit’s business strategy, growth, and partnerships. This role oversees business development, revenue planning, and market expansion, ensuring alignment with the company’s mission to support MSMEs through technology-enabled solutions. The CBO will lead cross-functional teams, collaborate closely with product, finance, and operations, and build strategic alliances with financial institutions, government stakeholders, and ecosystem partners.

Daily responsibilities include analyzing market opportunities, refining go-to-market plans, optimizing business performance, and ensuring strong execution of key initiatives. The CBO is also expected to mentor senior team members,



strengthen organizational capabilities, and represent Bullit externally with investors, partners, and key clients.

Qualifications

- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data, market trends, and performance metrics to inform strategic decisions.
- Deep experience in finance, including budgeting, forecasting, revenue modeling, and understanding of financial products relevant to MSMEs.
- Proven track record in business development, partnership building, and scaling products or services in fast-growing or tech-led environments.
- Background in consulting or management consulting, with experience in solving complex business problems and advising executive leadership.
- Demonstrated leadership in managing cross-functional teams, setting clear objectives, and driving accountability and outcomes.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work effectively with internal teams, external partners, and regulators.
- Experience in fintech, MSME-focused services, or tech platforms is highly beneficial; familiarity with the Indian regulatory and financial ecosystem is a plus.
- Advanced degree in business, finance, economics, or a related field preferred, along with substantial senior leadership experience in high-growth organizations.
