Qualification & Experience
- Commerce Graduate or equivalent qualification
- 15+ years of experience in the Construction Industry
Key Responsibilities
Accounting Operations
- Oversee day-to-day operations of the Accounts Department with 6 staff.
- Ensure accurate and timely accounting entries and maintenance of the General Ledger
- Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements including:
- GST audits and refunds
- E-Invoicing implementation
- Maintain compliance with Pre-GST taxation (VAT & Service Tax)
- Manage Direct Tax compliances
- Corporate Income Tax
- TDS
- Advance Tax
- Liaise with tax authorities for notices, audits, and routine compliance (Pan India)
- Prepare inventory reports for banks and assist with:
- Stock Audits
- Receivable Audits
Compliance & Audit Support
- Ensure adherence to financial regulations and statutory requirements
- Support internal and statutory audits with documentation and explanations
- Assist senior management in
- Budgeting
- Financial forecasting
- Financial analysis
Project Cost Management
- Monitor and track project costs against approved budgets
- Identify potential cost overruns and highlight variances
- Coordinate with project managers to control expenditures
- Prepare financial reports for ongoing projects, including:
- Budget vs. actual analysis
- Project cash flow forecasts
Billing & Cash Flow Management
- Prepare and track progress billing and monthly invoicing for projects
- Monitor material movement and reconciliation
- Ensure timely billing in coordination with project managers and clients
- Support effective cash flow management
