Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Chartered Accountant role based in the Greater Ahmedabad Area.

The Chartered

Accountant will be responsible for preparing and reviewing financial statements, managing general ledger accounts, and ensuring compliance with relevant accounting and taxation standards. Daily activities include handling audits, analyzing financial data, preparing tax returns, and supporting budgeting and forecasting processes. The role involves collaborating with internal teams and clients, providing financial advice, and maintaining accurate records to support strategic business decisions.

Accountant will also contribute to process improvements and uphold professional and ethical standards in all financial operations.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong financial accounting and reporting skills, including experience with general ledger management and preparation of financial statements.
- Candidates should possess taxation and compliance skills, such as knowledge of direct and indirect tax regulations, return filing, and audit support.
- Candidates should possess analytical and problem-solving skills, including the ability to interpret financial data, assess risks, and support budgeting and forecasting.
- Candidates should possess proficiency in accounting software and productivity tools, ideally including ERP systems and advanced MS Excel.
- Relevant professional qualification such as Chartered Accountant (CA) or equivalent, with a robust understanding of accounting standards and regulatory frameworks.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with clients and internal stakeholders and present financial information clearly.
- High level of integrity, attention to detail, and commitment to maintaining confidentiality of client and organizational information.
- Prior experience in KPO, corporate finance, or public accounting environments will be considered an advantage.
